Sounds like her brother in 2010 when he said

"As soon as the first bullet flies I will be there to lead you"

Possibly not his exact words but the meaning is there.

And what happened ? well nothing really he just stayed in his luxury while his supporters sweated and bled on the street.

Or like the red leaders on there stage back then

"We will fight to the last drop of blood"

Then as soon as it looked like it might be their blood they couldn't get their hands in the air quick enough, the ones that didn't run away that is.

Correct. If she want's to die on the democratic battlefield why is she not in Bangkok where the battle is?

Suthep wants a battle. It takes 2 to fight a battle. If she is not in Bangkok, what can he do? Blow his whistle until he turns green. He has achieved NOTHING in 4 months.

I do believe her statement will inflame the red mob even more and increase their boldness if that is possible.

I agree. It's inflammatory. Fanning the flames of civil war. Some leader!

Indeed. Actively goading the establishment with statements of secession is nuts. She needs to get her ministers in line, or this is going to go bang.

That's not quite true. He went for and DID achieve mayhem

Yingluck is a hero, showing strength, leadership and standing up for democracy in the face of obnoxious bullying by some very cowardly people.

Suthep is a corrupt, boneheaded bully with murder charges hanging over his head... and yet, bizarrely enough and to their utter shame, we have a vocal group of posters on this forum supporting this scumbag. Suthep is worthless, he is just interested in a power grab at all costs.

I presume you are joking?

Hahahah!!!! Yingluck is so full of shit! She would cry if she got a splinter!!! "Die on the battlefield of democracy" Hahaha....

So dramatic, and so full of shit.... she wouldn't die for anyone... too selfish and too greedy to care about anyone else.... fake crocodile tears and BS pouring from her mouth

Coming from such a silver spoon in mouth person, the statement just doesn't ring true as something coming out her particular mind. If you're going to playact a role, it's helps to be a better actress.

She knows its over and will die soon on the battle field. Her swan song. She is saying good bye.

___________________________________________________________________________

Sorry to correct you, but people like her or her family are never going to die on the battle field. They always make sure they got a horse or a car or a plane to get out before they could get burned. Remember the Marcoses? Remember Taksin's (then still) wife and the many suitcases on the way to SIngapore? And these suitcases were only for the black money...

The ones dying on the battle fields are always the small people, the farmers, labourers or simple soldiers. Like now the farmers, who got cheated out of their due money. Expect many of formerly independent farmers to sell all or part of their land, because... life must go on and the family needs to be fed and cared for. And a lot of red shirt politicians will come out of this with a lot more land to their name and the names of their family.

Bravo Yingluck!

Thai PBS has made it a policy of making news out of FB posts...( Yawn) Guess there wasn't enough real news out there...

I'd be interested to know who really funds these "journalists". All their articles seem to be slanted. Oh, thats right - they are connected to the nation newspaper. now, who funds the nation newspaper? whistling.gif

Try reading Thai PBS regarding her comment. "On her Facebook page, Ms Yingluck posted the following message: “In the capacity as the defence minister or as a soldier who has to perform his duty to the last minute, the soldier must die in the battlefield. Today in my capacity as the defender of democracy, I prefer to die in the battlefield of democracy rather than letting somebody else to destroy our democracy.” Maybe then you'll wake up out of your dream?

Guess that's something her brother told her to say too.

Could you please call Suthep and ask him for a new line? This one is getting old.

Now explain why you have to mention Suthep. I see no reference to him in the post. I forgot! You like to find any old excuse to get his name into your posts but on this occasion I can't work out what the excuse is. Please enlighten!

Of course! Vile rhetoric is much better than empty rhetoric. crazy.gif.pagespeed.ce.dzDUUqYcHZ.gif

Ready to "die on the democratic battlefield" ? blink.png

They please help the country move forward, by falling on your (figurative) sword, Ms Yingluck !

Nobody will blame you, you've clearly done your very best, for your family. You're now part of the problem, not the solution, I'm afraid. wink.png

Such a brave hero she has chosen to run off up North, refuses to meet the farmers face to face, and won't enter into any form of debate in or out of parliament.

She chooses to make these silly comments on her facebook page which is clearly ghost written.

She has no more interest in democracy than Suthep does. Only interested in Shin rule and absolving all members of her family of responsibility of past, present and future crimes.

Should the extent of corruption in this regime ever be revealed you and certain other posters will still be praising this parasitic and shameful despotic family.

C'mon....it's not April 1 just yet.....

YL is nothing that you think...hard to believe you think this way....unless of course you are a Thai and live in the North....

And what are the Shin family's paid terrorists who bombed and shot up the night market in Trat and bombed a family shopping at Big C Ratchdamri? Are those brave lads just working hard for the Shins to put rotten rice on the family's table?

So Poo is now a foot soldier for democracy willing to die with a M76 grenade launcher or an AK47 in her hand, bravely shooting down women and children from the back of a pick-up truck. Please go ahead and do it. Every child's guts blown out will keep your Shinocracy in power for another day.

There's no proof of any such act. Their is proof that players from the military are certainly armed and quite dangerous though... PRDC guards being active seals caught with weapons in the last couple of days rings bells....

If Moonmao had any understanding of polical psychology at all, then he wouldn't post this reprehensible and offensive rubbish. I'm sorry chaps but the facts are against ths and I, for one, am very willing to have a one-to-one discussion/debate with him to try and show him why he is so wrong. But this line is one he has pedalled for some time and I wonder if he is being coached by Robert. Certainly Amnesty International would suggest that Thaksin is implicated in poltical assassinations and many of us who have been involved in human rights and the fight against dictatorship for many many years (whether from the left or right) can understand exactly what kind of person Thaksin is: An autocrat that has hijacked the word 'democracy'. If you look at his actions over the years there is nothing whatsoever within those actions that suggest democracy or a person who truly holds democratic principles to heart. That's why I find Moonmao, and those of his ilk, quite ignorant of real politic and offensive. I won't go as far as to say that Suthep is a wonderful guy. He's not and like many others here has a history. I see him as a very brave stalking horse paving the way for a chance for Thailand to develop Democracy. Not something that Thaksin wants or aspires to. As for his sister? Not brave, a frightened and naive little mouse if you ask me. And along with many people I wouldn't want to see Suthep as PM. It won't happen because he ddoesn't want himself. What I am fed up of are the lies pedaled here constantly by Thaksin's posters about thus, anti-democratic and so on and on. Incidentally, Thaksin has charges hanging over him, he has already been convicted and any democratic country would have indicted him for the drug war murders which, conveniently, got rid of some of his political opponents.

Funny how popular Thaksin's "war on drugs" was at the time - including support from some very high places.

Once again, those opposed to the current government repeat the rant of the anti-democracy movement. Of course Thaksin is part of the problem, but it goes a lot deeper than this simplistic rant.

If only they knew the hypocrisy of it all...while someones son was on the white powder with someone elses son in a club in Huay Kwang
