I'm surprised at how many of the oldies I can still sing along with (not very tunefully, but I do remember most of the words).

On the other hand, while somewhat accidentally watching parts of the Oscars Presentation last week I was reminded that I have no idea (or interest in) most of the latest actors, movies or singers ... and watching some of the veterans like Kim Novak, Sidney Poitier and even John Travolta, was a bit painful.

I have a SD card tunes of that era that I play in the car.

Every time I remember another golden oldie I add it to the collection and now have over 600, thought I'd got just about all but looking at that list I see there are more for me to add.
