Photo / Avatar not working -- Again !

Tried several times spread over a few days but the photo editor seems to be Kaput!

It looks like its uploaded a pic, the file name is stated, but th image isnt, and you cant click "done" in fact you cant click anything its all frozen.

Why does ThaiVisa always seem to be plagued with so many tech issues ?

Edit: As a result of reading a possible solution in another thread I went into "settings", that was a totally blank page ! absolutely nothing, reload/refresh give same result ...Blank

There are issues with some ISP that cache the photos on their own servers.

Have you tried with a gravatar?

And what you have stated stops the function of the page too ? Stops everything working and provides a blank page ?

I have removed the avatar moments ago out of sheer frustration, I was aware of the isp etc issue from an issue last year.

I have tried using , chrome browser via android tablet, chrome via windows 7, firefox via windows 7, android via samsung note.

I can delete the pic, upload another, yesterday there was an image on my profile I didnt even upload, but the forum pic "smiley face" remains constant no matter what, unless deleted, then nothing shows.

The minute you reintroduce another pic, the smiley reappears.

Also repeatedly used ccleaner to clear browser cache, and changed isp,s repeatedly from true / tot

A had a similar problem with an avatar, it appeared 29 days from when I tried it first,(cached at ISP)

I just sign up for gravatar and it changed directly.

Thanks for the recommendation re: gravatar, it seems remote hosted pics is the better way to go.thumbsup.gif job done !
