Actually i notice the package is quite cheap, 70 pieces for about 1500 baht i think,

The laundry down silom near my place is about 1900 for about 60 pieces and they wont even collect

not to mention the numerous times ive found my T-shirts change colour.

Anyway im gonna give them a call this weekend give them a try, see how it goes

For work anyway i have a few suits that need sorting out so lets see. Im not too worried about price as long as theres no damage.

Im gonna give them a call this weekend give them a try, see how it goes, ill let you know

:o Would they be willing to come out to the wupwups (Bangna) to collect one pair of trousers? It would be very useful. I always forget to take Mr L's trolly's to the cleaners and when I do they take a week - 10 days to come back. I'll contact them and ask. It;s the only way. :D

I gave the clean and care a call this weekend to come collect my two suits and a couple of shirts,

I didnt really join on the package deal, just called them up to do some individual pieces. A very friendly girl working there answered the phone seemed to speak english really well, she promptly arranged a time to collect my items, wasnt too difficult at all.

Sunday evening around 7pm knock on the door and a couple of very fine looking girls standing at my door, im thinking i havent called for a massage this evening :o anyways, it was the Clean and Care girls. They were very friendly again, i explained to them how i wanted my suit done and the collars on shirt done and they completely understood and spoke english really well. To be honest i was wondering how a couple of girls like this are doing laundry or maybe theyre just delivery drivers.

The Laundry was delivered this morning, again the two pretty girls turn up (was a good site to wake up to, i could have done with some clean and care this morning :D ) Anyway, the laundry is all packaged nicely, everything smells good and most importantly the collars on my shirts were done perfectly.

Overall, i think the dry cleaning price for the suit was a little bit expensive and i expected next day delivery, but i got them the day after. However for dry cleaning its two days delivery or something. But service and quality was excellent, so ive decided to try them out on a package see how that goes, obviously seeing the two pretty clean and care girls turning at the door as nothing to do with it :D

Anyone else seen these girls, wonder if theyre delivery drivers or what

A disappointing experience.

My first posting here, unfortunately it’s not a positive one. I've found Clean and Care here in the forum and thought it's convenient to give it a try as I'm staying not far away in the CentrePoint for a couple of weeks.

Called them on Tuesday evening if they could pick up some shirts and within a short time somebody was there for collection. Great. 8 shirts, 5 T-shirts and as I'll be here for some time I've asked her for the 1499B/70 pieces promotion from the website. Considering my poor Thai and her poor English I repeated this promotion thing several times and she obviously understood it and agreed. But of course no receipt....hmmmm....a bit strange, so my clothes went away with somebody unknown somewhere...

Yesterday after 6pm the same girl delivered the laundry as agreed. To my surprise (?!) she doesn't know anything about the promotion anymore, but wants the normal price for the items with 2 of the T-shirts wrongly overpriced as shirts. Of course she can not do anything...blabla. So I called the laundry, someone picks up the phone. After shortly explaining that I don't want to order anything but that there are problems in the pipeline the phone was hung up. Fantastic service. So I gave the girl the money and let her go. Returning customer? I don't think so! There are several small laundries around in Wittayu, Suk Soi 1 etc.

Maybe it's not a scam, but at least they are cheating. I should have been warned as there is no Thai version of the website. The promotion obviously doesn't exist and is only meant to gain attention from unsuspicious farangs. I had to pay almost the same as for the CentrePoint laundry and they even deliver items nicely packed in plastic bags. Clean and Care is simply not worth it.

Cheers,

Mac

mac, it's a 1499 baht deal for 70 pieces at one go - and not for 70 pieces for the next 70 days. They give a good deal comparing to others - on condition it's a large order.

it was no more than misunderstanding - on your side

Surely it was. Thanks for reminding me. I blame nobody else than myself for not reading/thinking about the english only, not-updated since 2005, flash website offering not only a 1499B but also a 25B/piece promotion. Not to forget verbal and written interaction yesterday. Lesson learned and warning issued for all others to not tap into the same trap :o.

"70 pieces at one go" ????

Who needs 70 pieces cleaned at one go?

Who has that much dirty washing?

1,000Baht for 85 pieces at my pad, and you can take as long as you want to use their offer.

Somebody run down there and help them fix their website. no sense for all the publciity if you cannot see the website. Think they need an index file.

Anyone else got any stories to tell using this service...I do wonder how efficient they really are if their website has been down for so long...

i have used them twice - i would say they are pretty good

they pick up and drop off no problem... however, i always stuck by giving them 70 items (+/- a few) if it is a few items over 70 - they do not seem to care and still charge me 1500 bt

they also speak some english
