Videos are shot at the same spot, very close to restaurant Villa de Rosa in the direction of Doi Saket. The Doi Suthep is (un)visible in the background.

Another outstanding job by rcpilot. clap2.gif BTW This is normal air pollution for this time of year.bah.gif

What a great little toy you have RC..................it's a helicopter??

Visibility looked to be less than 500 mtrs, must be easy to loose your toy in the smoke and no wonder they aborted flights into CM. I wouldn't want to land in this soup.

where to buy one ? i really want this toy ... please PM

Im stunned by the clarity of your camera. At least in the first unpolluted video. Good job.

Thanks for sharing the footage rcpilot. :)

I've been thinking about getting one myself. Any chance you could share some photos of your rig setup?

Thanks in advance,

Garry

Fantastic shooting, as always from Thai BirdsEye. Wonder if that clear day was the one we were all raving over just a few short months ago. That was exceptional. The gunk seems worse than usual this year.

Just for comparison purposes,

How about a close view of the inside of the lungs of a smoker??

or maybe the sky following an open-field battle...sad.png

Another great effort in documenting Chiang Mai. Thanks for posting it.

Nice shots, which music do you use in the 22 March one?

For you life in luxury compared to my bit of pipe.

rcpilot,

I remember last year sitting at the traffic light at the intersection of the third ring road and the Chiang Mai – Mae Rim road looking at the mountains. It had just rained heavily the day before so the pollution had been knocked out of the sky, but when you looked at the mountains you could see fifty huge smoke stacks refilling the air with soot. I don’t know if you could capture something like that with your equipment, but it might be worth a try.

As the mayor said a couple of years ago everything will clear when people start throwing water.
