Popular Post rcpilot Posted March 22, 2014 Popular Post Posted March 22, 2014 Videos are shot at the same spot, very close to restaurant Villa de Rosa in the direction of Doi Saket. The Doi Suthep is (un)visible in the background. On a clear day, (Sep 28 2013) This morning, Mar 22 2014 7
samsara Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 positively hideous. havent flown since i got back from the south. impossible to make something look decent with this smog.
Popular Post khwaibah Posted March 22, 2014 Popular Post Posted March 22, 2014 Another outstanding job by rcpilot. BTW This is normal air pollution for this time of year. 4
jaideeguy Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 What a great little toy you have RC..................it's a helicopter?? Visibility looked to be less than 500 mtrs, must be easy to loose your toy in the smoke and no wonder they aborted flights into CM. I wouldn't want to land in this soup.
belg Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 where to buy one ? i really want this toy ... please PM
circusman Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Im stunned by the clarity of your camera. At least in the first unpolluted video. Good job. 2
Garry Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Thanks for sharing the footage rcpilot. I've been thinking about getting one myself. Any chance you could share some photos of your rig setup? Thanks in advance, Garry
Frank James Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Fantastic shooting, as always from Thai BirdsEye. Wonder if that clear day was the one we were all raving over just a few short months ago. That was exceptional. The gunk seems worse than usual this year.
Andre0720 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Just for comparison purposes, How about a close view of the inside of the lungs of a smoker??
samsara Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Just for comparison purposes, How about a close view of the inside of the lungs of a smoker?? or maybe the sky following an open-field battle...
bluebluewater Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Good vid. I too would like to know more about your "bird".
Tywais Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Thanks for sharing the footage rcpilot. I've been thinking about getting one myself. Any chance you could share some photos of your rig setup? luther Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 rcpilot, I remember last year sitting at the traffic light at the intersection of the third ring road and the Chiang Mai – Mae Rim road looking at the mountains. It had just rained heavily the day before so the pollution had been knocked out of the sky, but when you looked at the mountains you could see fifty huge smoke stacks refilling the air with soot. I don’t know if you could capture something like that with your equipment, but it might be worth a try. 1
cheeryble Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 As the mayor said a couple of years ago everything will clear when people start throwing water. Sent from my iPad using ThaiVisa app
