Lite Beer Posted March 23, 2014 Author Share Posted March 23, 2014 Five arrested with crystal meth and 700,000 speed pillsCHIANG RAI, 23 March 2014 (NNT) -- Anti-narcotics police confiscated more than 30 kilograms of crystal meth and 700,000 speed pills in an operation in the north of Thailand on the weekend.Acting on a tip off, police followed a pick up truck on the highway between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai to a meeting point with others in a suspected drug supply chain.Police arrested all five suspects when they observed the men helping each other transfer the packs of elicit drugs to another vehicle.During an interrogation, the five men confessed to being hired by a Hmong gang for 480,000 baht a person to transport illegal drugs to clients in Bangkok. -- NNT 2014-03-23 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
