It's well known some people in Sakhon Nakhon eat dog. In other areas too.

My missus as a kid was fed dog. She was told it was pork. After eating her uncle told her it was dog.

She says for weeks after eating it she couldnt walk past a dog without it growling at her.

I dont know if you said the thing bout dogs growling at her sort of tongue in cheek , but my ex's father was a life long west end furrier, at the peak 3 shops a work shop and 30 ish staff and absolutly not even the freindliest of pets liked him , at the time we had a cat and 2 ex stray dogs at best they shied away from him and wanted to get out of the room and away from him and at worst , and they absolutely knew that that sort of behaviour was not tolerated, but they growled and if i hadnt been there i reckon defo would have biten him if there exit route was blocked and he had got closer , , my ex said it wasnt just our pets it had always been like that since she was a kid.
