I'm an intermediate outdoor climber (prefer trad) looking to hook up with other climbers in the area. Anyone know of a group, or have an interest themselves? I have a partial rack.

There definitely is a group which I believe climbs near the hot springs just north of ChiangMai. I used to know an advanced climber that climbed there but I do not know if he is still here. Ask round you will find it.

Its all Limestone around here, Not sure if you really want to be doing trad in that. . but that is your personal call.

There are hundreds of clean pristine sport routes here

and another hundred unlisted and chossed up at up around Chaing Dao and some in Lampang..

if you really are set on doing trad in limestone, then, there are some awesome untouched multi pitch lines waiting for a FA up around soopong, if you are on a mission
