Keeping Bugs Out Of Brown Rice

I never buy rice normally, but I wanted to try brown rice so bought one of the small sealed bags at Big C .

Within 2 days it was crawling with black bugs inside it, very disgusting . I learned my lesson, never brown rice again.

Did as another poster said put it in the Freezer, left it there for about 8 days the big bag, been using it for a couple of months NO bugs... now getting low so must buy more this week so has a week in the freezer..
