If and when it gets out of the Thai Courts either RSS will have it or it may be free. If free the old coat hanger antenna will work. If RSS you will need satellite.

If your internet speed is up to mark, try some of the stream channels. You can google a host of them. At times its blocked by the ISP, but then they are ways to go around it!

365sport.tv online - just signed up with three month introductory period discount. Have a look and they've advertised the World Cup being shown live on there a lot recently. Lots of other sports as well.

Every world cup since 1990 has been televised on thai terrestrial tv and nowhere else. They used to break for ads and missed the odd goal which was addressed by showing on screen ads during the games. There are always scares and it always ends up on tv. Improve your thai by listening to the thai commentary. About the only game affected over the years was one during HM's birthday celebrations in 2006, entirely understandable.

Free blanket coverage nationwide, what more do you want.

Try nutjob.eu, streams beautifully and none of the click-bait that you get on most free streams. All premiership games are on at the moment.

RSS has bought rights and that's why there is a court battle.

My internet connection is by no means fast enough to watch any streamed program, so forget that. What is RSS and how do I get it?

According to the Fifa website the TV rights for pay per view have been given to True, which will be in English. There is also a free to air called Modern E which is unknown to me. Good Luck

Sorry that should be RS. As I said there is still a major court battle in Thailand over this.

Bangkok Post has an article 3 days old. No free to air.

Football Fans Out of Luck, Will Have to Pay to Watch the World Cup Apr 1, 2014

Sports

CityNews—An administrative court has ruled that RS sports, who owns the production rights of the World Cup games, will be able to charge Football fans in Thailand to watch 42 out of the 64 matches.

RS Sports, who originally planned to charge upwards of THB 1,590 to Football fans to have access to all 64 games, were thwarted by Thailand’s regulating body, National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), under a ‘Must-Have’ clause that lists seven programs, including the World Cup, as ones that must remain free-to-air.

Under scrutiny from the NBTC, who planned to fine RS Sports THB 17 million for their lack of compliance with the ‘Must-Have’ clause, RS Sports responded by persecuting the former. An administrative court ruled that the ‘Must-Have’ clause violated the Intellectual Protection Act and has permitted RS Sports to charge fans for a majority of the games, requiring that 22 of the less crucial ones be aired free in Thailand.
