Google Glass on sale to US public next week

April 11, 2014 - 9:33AM

Online orders for Google Glass will begin next week in the US, in the company's biggest push to get the web-ready glasses out to the public.
For a limited time starting Tuesday April 15, Google will make the $US1500 wearable device available to more than just the select users such as apps developers in its "Glass Explorer" program.
The company did not say how many pairs it would sell, just that the quantity would be limited.

Unlike what the news headline – and consequently the title of this topic – suggests you won't be able to buy GoogleGlass in US supermarkets. It looks like this will take a little longer to happen.

Ha ha. What a bunch of dinosaurs.

Each to their own, but there were many similar sentiments when cell phones came out and I would venture that all these people who think Google Glass are rubbish all have at least one cell phone now.

If you want to look like a nobhead and pay to do so that's your choice.

They might suit someone like Will-I-Am but on your average Joe, mofo's will just laugh and say "look at that nobhead."
