Featured Replies

It is incredulous that those who blindly support Suthep (a guy who is as corrupt at Thaksin, facing murder charges and uses violence to support his agenda) have the audacity to call the reds stupid!!!!

So you then, are all for a non political party to be the caretaker government to clean all this up

welcome to the Real World

"If the prime minister was found guilty, the UDD would rise in a struggle which would be heightened to achieve victory"

This is what stands out in this OP. This is the statement that reflects the UDD and lack of respect for the law. IF Thida said "If the prime minister was found guilty and no evidence provided to back that decision, the UDD would rise in a struggle which would be heightened to achieve victory. Nope. Evidence is not a belief. Evidence is facts. Evidence cannot be argued or bought. Evidence cannot be twisted or manipulated. Evidence ergo facts quite simply is the PTP/UDD greatest enemy. They are fans of beliefs. Beliefs override facts when the UDD relay their rhetoric to the masses. A belief that the courts are biased overrides the facts that the evidence is real. A belief that the EC is biased overrides the fact that the Bangkok governor is facing charges of breaking the election law. A belief the criminal court is biased overrides the fact that the two accused terrorists, Jatupron and Nuttawutt are still free on bail.

So really Thida is making it very clear that unless the courts prove yingluck innocent irrespective of any evidence that proves her guilty the UDD will rise in a struggle.

So lets get this straight. Jatuporn and Nuttawutt broke their bail conditions, but you don't hear Thida protesting the courts saying this is a travesty of justice. The evidence was there they broke bail conditions, but Thida is silent. That decision suits her agenda so the UDD will let that one slide. The EC pushed charges on the Bangkok governor. He has valid excuses to counter the charges, but silence from Thida again. She respects that decision because it suits her agenda. The one above does not suit the agenda. It is not about the right decision being made it is the agenda driven decision that needs to be made.

One can project from the propaganda and hate speeches from these accused terrorist leaders and Thida what the UDD school curriculum would contain. Yes, they have their own propaganda schools in the North and North East that teach "democracy". I can only imagine the pliability of the minds of the gullible and uneducated that the UDD are tapping into. I pity them for having spent months in the UDD indoctrination schools run by accused terrorists that teach the courts will be respected for giving a UDD decision not a correct decision.

Unfortunately when you no longer have the majority backing, but the backing of a 200 000 armed street gang (the largest in history apparently) you can fight for anything you want, but of course it has to be under the banner of democracy. That's the handle irrespective of the content.

This was the always going to be the end result. You simply cannot remove a corrupt (now Proven) elected governement and call the people who where conned into voting for them stupid and not expect the money spenders wh wanted them in power not to reaction.

At least by this time next month it will all be over one way or another.

And hope the result will be what is best for Thailand

Agree.

"IF Thida said "If the prime minister was found guilty and no evidence provided to back that decision, ......"

The NACC is not a gang of cowboys, the collective experience of their commissions is impressive and it's clear that NACC is trying to build it's credibility further and build a solid quality track record.

So seems to me that the NACC would not, under any circumstances have thoughts of / actually find her guilty, without evidence. They would destroy their credibility totally and it take them years to regain any acceptance. Plus some negative mud would stick on the wider picture of judicial actions.

If only the Dems and its supporters could realise that they are doomed to opposition in the immediate future unless they find some way to help the masses instead of just themselves, if only they would accept the political situation as it is,if only they could rebuild their party to something that would benefit all and if only they would stop disrupting any elected government just because it is'nt themselves. Then maybe life would change for the best for all Thais not just the ammarat.

I think YL will be removed by the court

Let's hope so as she broke the law.

How and when ? Please educate us all.

I hope there will be a strong army cordon around the courts and they will be given authority to protect the judges and meet force with similar force. Let the courts do their jobs, red detritus !.Yingluck and PT deserve to have the prison cell doors locked behind them and the keys thrown away for their crimes against this country - I hope it happens.

Tida : " The rally would be peaceful and weapons-free, she said. "

Try that line with Dr. Narong.

Tida : " If the prime minister was found guilty, the UDD would rise in a struggle which would be heightened to achieve victory, she added. "

There's the UDD scenario right there. It couldn't really be any clearer. The UDD are always clear. Since the February 23 UDD rally they have proven to be remarkably clear. So when the UDD say that they will " heighten " their struggle to achieve victory, they really mean " heighten ", in a way that only they could inimitably define. We all know what it means when the UDD " heightens " their struggles.

One thing is for sure, that notwithstanding, if after the Constitutional Court ruling, if Pheu Thai's narrative matches that of the UDD - or even comes close to it - they will have thrown this into a full-blown and unprecedented constitutional crisis.

I think YL will be removed by the court, yet another nail in the coffin of democracy for LOS.

Double standards, well those that know Thailand will also know that this is common here.

Why is it that you never make any serious contribution to any of the threads on this forum, but instead spew forth sound bites which obviously come straight out of the Red Book. Could it possibly be that you have a Red wife pulling your strings....!?

There is currently no democracy in Thailand whatsoever, only sweeping dictatorship and threats against anyone who gets in its way; refer to the farmers in the North who are being threatened by senior people in the PTP to keep quite, and not make waves, otherwise they will never get paid ... that is, they will not get paid for goods which they provided up front in good faith...!!

Thida said that their rallies would be "heightened"; what are we to make of that? I think that many of us know what she is suggesting, but what she fails to recognize is that there are no longer thousands of people in the North ready to die for their leader and the continuation of the rape of Thai economy.

Double standards? You mean like the continuation of the bail of Jatuporn and Nattawut despite clear evidence of their breach of bail conditions...?!

If you wish to be taken seriously, you have to come up with sound arguments, but of course, I realize your difficulty there, since there are no potential defensive arguments for this corrupt regime, which is why you are going to have to look for someone else to support in the very near future...!!

And I suppose your nose up Sutheps ass is any different? Clearly you are also blinded by the side you choose. Its not our problem its theirs. If you think Suthep is right then maybe you need to educate yourself in Thai history and what it means "For the people" as in "The many" not the needs of a "few". Clearly the cultural dynamic is for the elite to crap on the poor take whatever they can squeeze out of them then pretend its for their own good because they are too stupid to realize it. You call the disruption of the last 6 months positive? I would beg to differ just by the amount of Baht we get because of Sutheps actions.

If you are not already aware of my stance on Suthep, then I will simply tell you that my nose is nowhere near his ass and I will repeat what I have said on here on many occasions before: this uprising was not his, he simply hijacked it when it started to gain momentum.

I have very little faith in Suthep as regards being the "man for the job" once all of these thieves have been ousted, thereby undermining your whole argument against my position in all of this.

The people are responsible for this uprising, and they have accepted what they have had to endure for the past six months because it is a necessary prelude to bringing down the most corrupt government Thailand has ever seen...!! It is indeed the will of "the many" that the current corruption ends, and from what I can see, we are currently at the beginning of the end.

There will surely come a time when the red apologists on here will actually realize that all these thieves did during their time in office was take, take, take, whilst giving nothing. Every populist policy they ever implemented has come back to bite them in the ass, and they will surely be brought to book at some future date, provided they don't skip the country beforehand...!!

Vote, or you are just whining.

I will openly call the reds for what they are - deceitful, communists, hired thugs of Thaksin.

BTW, it does not mean that I am a yellow-shirted Suthep lover.

Absolute rubbish

What, this kind of rubbish, do you mean

"Tida also asked why the EC and the Constitutional Court had not taken legal action against People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban for having admitted in his speech he had successfully engineered the nullification of the February 2 election.

Suthep also declared he would obstruct an election in every way, indicating that he and the PDRC had impeded democracy, she said."

Seems perfectly clear and reasonable to me. Obviously you disagree, so I can only presume that you think that obstructing of elections and being responsible for the nullification of that election is a perfectly legitimate action. Perhaps you think that is a good thing, nothing will suprise me of some posters on this forum.

so we can see you wanted this corrupt government (now Proved) to have been able to continue ripping off the Thai people

sorry I can not agree with you

But then again I live her and have a family here

I doubt if the same is true in your case

Doubt all you like, you know nothing about me - you disagree with me, fine, keep it at that.

No we don't scamper, do tell us what happens when the UDD heighten their struggle to achieve victory. Of course I'm wasting my breath because you never reply to any query just post reams of propaganda and nobody picks you up on it, curious.

you mean re-educate you..i think thats what you meant to say because no-one else has asked him..thumbsup.gif

thats right because there are no yellow shirts..fact

Well thats you opinion

But there are no facts to back tou up

The real fact are it was a Protest by the Thai people that brought down this Government, the democrats had already retired from Parliment when all this started

Suphet has been the power head behind this and again he is ex Democrats

So please show any factual proof that the Thai Elite where behind this fallen government ( not just your beliefs)

Now we agree who brought down the government

I agree I hope the new Democrat Government if formed will squash the red shirt things, so they can get into the North Thailand to help the people

This has been impossibe in the past as the Red shirts made sure the last time they would not allow the Dem Government to help the people

And red Rambo continue to threaten judges and try to rise his personal army to replace Kotee in the red dream war

I think YL will be removed by the court

Let's hope so as she broke the law.

An idea might be you spend some time readuing instead of trolling

There are stack of proof in print now

Or if your really lazy just wait for the court ruling

Of course it would seem clear and reasonable to you as does reams of red shirt propaganda.

Have you and Tida not heard of CAPO or the police? They have been given the task of dealing with the PDRC because the EC & CC do not have powers of arrest. The target should be CAPO who have consistently used their mouths (& weapons in one unfortunate failure) rather than their brains or legal powers to attack the PDRC. The fact that far too many lies have been uttered by them hasn't helped either.

What is wrong with you people ruling Thailand you have a beautiful country and people to Govern why dont you cop on and set a good example for your people instead of bitching about each other you are not supposed to in politics for your own personal gain or indeed to carry out vendettas against the opposition. So get you head out of your asses and start doing your job.

Yeah whatever, do you think Tida meant for the EC to arrest suthep? What a waste of 0's and 1's, sure if I said it was white you'd say it was black coffee1.gif

Wait, so what's the consensus?
Is she likely to be removed?
If so, who takes over?

I think YL will be removed by the court

Let's hope so as she broke the law.

How and when ? Please educate us all.

The when was September 30, 2011.

Now on April 21, 2014 we are on the "eve of the court verdict".

In the interim, there have been no fewer than 15 threads with information on the how.

If you act quickly, you can bring yourself up to date so that you can be an informed poster on the inevitable 16th thread that will be started tomorrow.

Happy reading.

:)

Wait, so what's the consensus?

Is she likely to be removed?

If so, who takes over?

Chalerm seems to think he takes over.

"Chalerm Yoobamrung pointed out that the deputy premier could take over if Yingluck was disqualified"

Oh, why that'll just be peachy. 'Should help resolve everything!

The Conflict Resolution Specialist will have everything sorted in 90 days.

Meanwhile Protesters of the PDRC marched yesterday along a designated route in the capital to invite Bangkok people to join their campaign for the ousting of the so-called Thaksin regime and for reforms.

They moved from the statue of King Rama 6 in front of Lumpini Park at 10.20am. They then marched along Narathiwat Ratchanakarin, Sathorn, Suan Phlu, Nang Linchi, Chan and Charoen Krung roads to Asiatique, the riverfront shopping complex.

Protestors of the PDRC? I wish there were such a groupbiggrin.png , I would join if I could do so without being thrown out of the country!

I was rudely awoken Sunday morning in Silom by the voice of some clown using a bullhorn to rally his troops for this ridiculous march. Would that not constitute disturbing the peace? This "camp out" that they have going on over in Lumpini Park is accomplishing absolutely nothing right now other than:

1) providing cheap housing for the few out of towners that linger about as they likely have nothing better to do.

and

2) likely destroying what was once a very nice park. (I'm speculating here of course, I don't dare wander over in fear of being linked to these follies...er, I mean rallies........

speculating and thinking about you you you..is was you meant to say ..wai.gif

Winstinc! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my rant and confirm with me my thoughts.

Reading around your obvious spelling error ('was' ...should've been 'what' I assume?....I know it's tough sometimes, spellchecker only checks spelling, not syntax, gotta do that yourself....), NO, that is not what I meant to say. I said what I meant to say.

It was a Sunday morning after a big night celebrating the (last place) Sunderland's shocking victory over Home team, Chelsea, ending a 77- Premier League home unbeaten streak and all but destroying Chelsea's hopes of a Premier League title.

So you can imagine a little peace and quiet at 10am on a Sunday is appreciated, to hear the ruckus on the street from 20 floors up (windows closed) I think is a bit much and infringing on other's rights, wouldn't you agree? (not that this country is big on human rights but let's leave that discussion for another time shall we).

If you aren't convinced, I could swing by your place this weekend with my half ton truck and a huge speaker in the back and you can make a more informed decision then if you wish, just let me know, I'm more than happy to help a concerned fellow poster where I can.

You know Winstanc, I just re-read what I wrote and you know, maybe you were right after all?? Maybe I was speculating and thinking about me, me, me?

I'm happy to know that TV has such great members like yourself, so many discussion boards are home to trolls or 'posters' with nothing better in their lives to do than jump onto any and every post they can in an antagonistic manner to illicit some type of negative response from the other members. Likely people with no lives away from their computer, hiding in anonymity behind a keyboard. Sad really.

Anyways, thanks again Wonstinc, your help is duly noted. I see there are probably a half dozen or so other posters on this thread alone that you've likely also helped to avoid embarrassment, expect to get some more thank you mail my friend........... btw, where did you say you were from again?????

Sunderland 2- Chelsea 1
