I am looking to give this camera a try, but first need to hear some advice from previous owners.

Where to get one in BKK?

And price range.

Thanks to all

Good little cameras, but down load the app for I phone/ I pad or android makes them easier to set up, but you need the WiFi version of the camera

I have the older GoPro 2 model with the rear screen accessory - great Hi Res quality video and it's tough. I dropped mine from a bike, crashed a longboard into it and used it in the sea - survived it all. Not great for still photography.

The user interface is not very intuitive and I have to read the manual if I've not used it for a while - but the latest GoPro black model has simpler remote operation and is better underwater due to new lens housing shape. You'll need a selection of supports/clamps, straps if you want to mount it on handlebars, boats, helmets etc - some of the packages include a useful range of mounts to get you going.

Top floor of MBK and Big Camera Rama 9 has the Black in stock - but I got mine from an airport shop and saved a little on tax.
