Hi all !!

Me and some friends are using Hamachi to play C&C generals and we would like to get more player in order to play with more players or to play some other popular game.

Hamachi is a virtual private network that simulate a LAN Network so you dont need to setup hard port forwarding if you are behind a firewall or a router. Also it s Lan Multiplayer and it s easier to setup a game (also great to try multiplayer games before buy them). The network we are on hamachi is ExpatHubThailand password sabaidee. Well hope you ll come play with us !

Thks for reading !!

Counter Strike Source?

Silent Hunter?

F1 Challenge, Grand Prix 4? (just got new Momo racing wheel :D)

Give us some titles. I'm not into strategy games.

Anyone know what happened with Counter-Strike Source servers CSloxinfo 1, 2, 3 and 4? I keep thinking an employee there had secretly set those up and the boss found out. :o

We have just started with C&C and it s working well, we can play almost anything if we have 2 person who want to play the same game :D The idea behind this post is to regroup the communauty of player in thailand in order to play some game online.

hi'

since file sharing has to be enable, some ports are vulnerable,

so install it connect it and then go to Gypson site shields up to check :D

and it goes through any firewall, secured they say ... :o

can someone do it and give result, that would be nice :D

here ; https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

if it says stealth, I would eventualy join to play some from time to time,

I'm in race simulation too :D like you penzman :D how is momo, I have the formula EX

force feedback only ...

thanks

You should (and almost must) disable every protocol on the hamachi interface and keep only TCP/IP this ensure that your file are safe (That s usually the first check we do on a new user joining us to prevent troubles). I d recomend disabling firewall on hamachi interface to avoid too much trouble creating a game but if you feel confident about your firewall configuration you can keep it enabled and open the correct port for the game you intend to play (C&C generals has so many port that it s troublesome). I couldnt connect to your gypson shield so I cant give you results :D

The Momo Recing wheel is awesome! I''ve had a few wheels before this one and they just can't be compared. The force feedback is great, you really get a feel of the braking when you start locking up the wheels. I'm learning all over as this wheel is v-e-r-y precise.

What simulators do you play François?

Now I'm testing EA Sports F1 Challenge 99-02.

Trying to get my hands on Grand Prix 4. Any others I should try?

Wife wasn't too happy when her 43 year old husband/kid bought that wheel. :o

francois, I managed to connect to https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 and the result seems OK but I think I'll have to close port 135 that is open due to msn messenger, port 80 was open as I have several programs that listen on that port and 443 because the test is conducted over a secure webpage.

This report was made while connected to Hamachi, 2 peer2peer networks, UltimateVNC, IE, Mozilla and using Outpost firewall pro

File Sharing Report

Your Internet port 139 does not appear to exist!

One or more ports on this system are operating in FULL STEALTH MODE! Standard Internet behavior requires port connection attempts to be answered with a success or refusal response. Therefore, only an attempt to connect to a nonexistent computer results in no response of either kind. But YOUR computer has DELIBERATELY CHOSEN NOT TO RESPOND (that's very cool!) which represents advanced computer and port stealthing capabilities. A machine configured in this fashion is well hardened to Internet NetBIOS attack and intrusion.

Unable to connect with NetBIOS to your computer.

All attempts to get any information from your computer have FAILED. (This is very uncommon for a Windows networking-based PC.) Relative to vulnerabilities from Windows networking, this computer appears to be VERY SECURE since it is NOT exposing ANY of its internal NetBIOS networking

Most Common and

Troublesome Internet Ports

Solicited TCP Packets: RECEIVED (FAILED) — As detailed in the port report below, one or more of your system's ports actively responded to our deliberate attempts to establish a connection. It is generally possible to increase your system's security by hiding it from the probes of potentially hostile hackers. Please see the details presented by the specific port links below, as well as the various resources on this site, and in our extremely helpful and active user community.

Unsolicited Packets: PASSED — No Internet packets of any sort were received from your system as a side-effect of our attempts to elicit some response from any of the ports listed above. Some questionable personal security systems expose their users by attempting to "counter-probe the prober", thus revealing themselves. But your system remained wisely silent. (Except for the fact that not all of its ports are completely stealthed as shown below.)

Ping Echo: PASSED — Your system ignored and refused to reply to repeated Pings (ICMP Echo Requests) from our server.

Status Security Implications

80

HTTP

OPEN! The web is so insecure these days that new security "exploits" are being discovered almost daily. There are many known problems with Microsoft's Personal Web Server (PWS) and its Frontpage Extensions that many people run on their personal machines. So having port 80 "open" as it is here causes intruders to wonder how much information you might be willing to give away.

135

RPC

OPEN! (Remote Procedure Call) This impossible-to-close port appears in most Windows systems. Since many insecure Microsoft services use this port, it should never be left "open" to the outside world. This port has been exploited to send "Messenger Spam" pop-ups to Microsoft windows users. Since it is impossible to close, you will need a personal firewall or NAT router to block it from external access. Do it soon!

443

HTTPS

OPEN! The presence of this secure web port in your system implies that this system is establishing secure connections with web browsers. The number one reason for doing this is the transmission of credit card information. This implies that the successful intruder could access the web server's credit card database and score bigtime. This is a VERY bad port to have open unless you are actually conducting secure web commerce!

All other ports were in stealth mode

Penzman

GT-R (FIA GT Racing) and GT-Legends (classic sportscars) are both good sims and work well with the Momo force feedback.

GT-R is available as an import and GT-L has recently been released for the Thai marked for around 500 Baht.

Both support on-line racing and I have had many good GT-R races with a friend in Thailand. Once you have made the set-up through their central site, you connect within Thailand so the lag is minimal.

Any English language options in the menus?

I am sure they will not have made a Thai version. Like most games, the box and the manual is in Thai; but the game will be in English. I can give you a copy of the manual if you need it; but it is pretty straightforward to set up.
