Police probe shooting at Kalasin BAAC bank
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Police yesterday summoned employees of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC)'s Song Puai branch in Kalasin's Muang district for information after unknown party in a truck opened fire at the branch office on Sunday night.

Police suspect the shooting may have been done by youngsters but had not ruled out an internal dispute or a farmers' rage about overdue rice payment as a possible motive, Pol Colonel Sermsak Neunuan of Muang Kalasin police station said.

Branch manager Napachara Makhumlek said a farmer's rage over the rice-pledging payment was less likely as the branch had only 800 farmers awaiting payments worth Bt55 million.

What sort of logic is that? blink.png

It only takes one pissed off farmer to pull a trigger. So what if there is 800 or 5000 waiting?

and the BIB produced their usual list of ' it could have been because of '.

No suggestions that someone was upset because the ATM ate their card.

It is actually almost certainly a farmer (or a bunch of them)....

The BAAC have paid out all the farmers in all the PTP voting strongholds and left the non-voters to rot.
