Man who left Koh Tao with half a skull gets a new space shuttle titanium replacement

Featured Replies

When Lee Charlie, 32 from the UK visited Koh Tao in 2012 he did not expect to be returning to the UK with half of his skull in his hand luggage.

Lee had planned to spend 30 days in Thailand but during his trip he was found lying on the floor with the left side of his skull smashed in after falling seven meters from a second floor walkway at Tommy Resort.

Is this for real ? w00t.gif

This appeared in a holiday-themed programme with Angela Rippon that aired in UK earlier this year. The segment related to balcony falls & included footage of him being interviewed @Bkk Samui Hospital before following up in UK.

Hats off to this guy for even being able to smile after such a tragic accident, it shows an amazing strength of character.

He now appears to look very normal and has a much brighter future ahead of him.

Truly an inspiration for many people, good luck to you mate.
