Hi guys, I've been a member of Power House Gym since last September. All in all, it's a pretty good gym, and the staff are very nice.

I've asked on a few occassions if they could get a punch bag.

They have a large space upstairs for classes and you could easilly have one in one of the corners.

Their running excuse for not getting one is that it would get in the way of the classes. I tried to explain that you can take these up and down, and also, classes are only on early in the morning and in the evening. Most of the time, I never actually see a class.

I've been in many gyms over the years, and most have had a punch bag. They're low tech and take up little space. Their excuse is either just they can't be bothered or they really do think it will interfeer with classes.

Anyway, anyone else a member?

I really think it would be a great addition to the place. You could even get one of those funny looking standing ones, like a big jelly bean.

It's a good idea but whether they do it or not is up to the Gods. I suggested the same to another gym and it never happened. There are a few punching bags at CMU gym though if you want to use them and the yearly fee is only 300 baht.

I've asked them and they said they don't have room to put it and if they have it customers will play with it!
