Dermatology Clinic/Hospital in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am looking for a clinic of hospital that specializes in dermatology in Bangkok. I have some suspicious skin patches that won't heal. I am no expert but from what i see online it could be something malignant.

Anyway, if anyone could point my in the right direction that would be great. Otherwise i suppose I'll just pick any hospital, but I'd like to go somewhere that specializes in skin.

Thanks for any help. Much appreciated.

All hospitals provide dermatology treatmento but most is targeted to beauty rather than cancer so you need to see a specialist in a hospital and as skin cancer is not a common problem for Thai it is best to look for a dermatologist with experience in a western country. And that will likely only be a few. If you search this section believe you will find recommendations from moderator. Although I believe others are capable you would have to be sure that take the cancer possibility seriously in any exam. As I have had non healing carcinomas urge you to get it checked - most are slow and easy to cure by removal but the sooner the better.

There is a government derm hospital but as there is any concern about possible malignancy you should see a doctor who trained and worked in the West and specilialized in skin cancer ,which is rare in Thailand. Highly recommend Dr. Niyom at Bumrungrad.
