We-tv Cable In Chiang Mai - World Cup In English

Featured Replies

If you are in Chiang Mai and subscribe to WE-TV, you may not have stumbled over the fact that the WE-TV have quietly added the South African SuperSport Channel into their channel list. I hadn't noticed until today, as I have programmed in the 9 channels we watch most as "favourites" and don't often surf through all 60 channels.

This means that all the WC games are available live and with British commentary. Many bars around town subscribe to WE-TV so if you don't have it at home it is fairly easy to find a bar that does. The problem might be persuading the staff to switch from the Thai language station. :o

Well done WE-TV. 350B a month and you put UBC to shame.

Whimsy, f'ing amazing to me too! I have WETV because I'm cheap, so I just keep it on for the one movie channel to save me some DVD rental. The rest of it is just crap! Of the few English channels, one is devoted to 24hrs of 3 year old Real Madrid La Liga games, just crazy! But somehow they had the idea to port the South African channel over, saved me MANY baht in bar tabs this month already!
