My Samsung Plasma TV (4 years old) just broke down, does anyone know of any Samsung repair centres in Isaan? The closest big town to me is Mukdahan, next would be Roi-et and then Kalasin. If not an official Samsung centre then a shop that is competent and could get the parts to repair the TV. Thanks.

The only one I know of is way over in Khon Kaen, but I am sure there are plenty of others. Stop into any of the major appliance shops in the closet town and ask, they can most likely help you out

Check Samsung website. They list service centres. There is one in Ubon that I've been to many times.

There's an absolute stunner working there too!

Walk into a shop selling large Samsung TV screens and contact their repair service.

Ask them for the repair costs involved. Be prepared it may take some time when your TV needs to be send back to a specialized central Samsung repair center in e.g. Bangkok. I believe this is the way it is supposed to work today.

Personally I've had positive experiences with e.g. Nano Creative Co., Ltd. ( operating area North-East of Thailand ) located quite close to Big C at Nittayo Road in Udon Thani.

According the picture shown here Mukdahan is located relative close to a service network contact in Ubon Ratchathani:

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies, I found a place in Roi-et, not Samsung, but supposedly can do the job, and only 100 alms from me.

It's on the main road from Korat to Joho, the road with Big C and Macro. Drive north to the traffic lights by the Pegasus Hotel then do a U turn and come back towards Big C. Drive past the Ford garage and the Samsung Repair Centre is on the left a bit further down, I think it's opposite St. Mary's Hospital.

Hope this makes some sense.

It is on the main drag on the same side as Isuzu dealer, if i remember correctly-between Bangkok hospital and turn off to Lady Mo, ,has a very large Samsung service center sign.
