Connect Samsung Note II to Macbook Pro

Featured Replies

Does anybody have experience on how-to connect a Samsung Galaxy Note II with a Apple Macbook Pro (running OSX 10.9.1)?

The idea is to be able to copy files (pictures) from the telephone to the Macbook Pro...

Hello All, not sure about the Samsung, but I highlight pic's drag the file/files to a

folder or desktop of my Mac using a usb cable from my Nokia N8.

When doing my wife's Nokia Lumia 720-Windows OS, have to remove micro-sd

card and into the card reader to transfuer pic's.

Hello Lite Beer,

Those two options (KIES and FileTransfer) I tried and where not successful, KIES basically doesn't do anything useful (with exception that I can make a backup of my phone) and Adroid-FileTransfer keeps telling me to reconnect or restart my device...

The solution I have now found is to use a converter plug from Micro-B USB (what is the little USB plug which fits into my phone) to a regular USB 2.0 female plug, by using this plug I can connect a standard USB Kingston 16GB flashdrive, which the Samsung Galaxy Note II mounts as USBDriveA. This option is pretty fast...

Kies works for me.

Can transfer files.

Is that with a Galaxy Note II or another Samsung phone?

I connected a Galaxy S3 to my MBP no problem and copied files both ways using the android filetransfer app.
