BANGKOK: -- Channel 5 has cancelled its press conference scheduled at 11 .00 a.m. tomorrow to report the hosting of the live broadcast of 38 World Cup matches jointly with RS Plc and the NCPO.

No reason was given on cancelling the press conference.
Channel 5 earlier said it will lead the live broadcast of 38 matches from the total 64.

NBTC to subsidize live broadcast of all World Cup matches on free TVs

BANGKOK: -- The National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission (NCTC) is to consider funding the live broadcast of all World Cup matches on free TVs after the Supreme Administrative Court ruled in favor of RS Plc to protect its broadcast right.
