This passage suggests that Satan, referred to as the "god of this age," has the power to blind people's minds to the truth of the gospel. Additionally, Ephesians 4:14 mentions being "tossed back and forth by the waves" and "blown here and there by every wind of teaching," which can be interpreted as spiritual deception or manipulation.
