If I take a shared songthaew from Nathon going to Bo Phut, can I get dropped off at fisherman's village? My hotel Smile House is at one end of the fisherman's village.

Gulfsailor, thank you for the helpful shortcut. I live in Bangkok and walking in the heat for more than 10 minutes I look like I haven't hd a shower in a week. I can get my exercise early in the morning or late at night.

Well i've just walked both this morning and the short cut is not only no quicker, possibly longer, but the entire way you are exposed to sun. Anyway, only trying to help. I'm sure the OP will do as she pleases.
