Thai Education Centre Of Australia

Featured Replies

There is a Thai language and culture School operating in Sydney on Sundays,

from 10am onwards. Corner of Cleveland st and Chalmers St.

The school seems to be orientated around teaching children but they're happy

to have adults along.

There are three levels of language classes, the first is like kinderdergaten

teaching the Thai consonants.

Second level class is learning to read and write. And there is a more

advanced class above this.

After the language classes there are Thai music and dancing classes for the

kids.

I'm finding it really good, I've tried to learn to read/write Thai many

times before but this is the first time I've moved on much from the

consonants.

The school is run as a charity/not for profit, so tuition is very cheap.

Also, there is a Thai Radio program on 89.7Mhz in Sydney, Saturdays

12:00-1:00pm, Sundays 9pm-12. http://www.eastsidefm.org/default.asp?page=guide

Regards,

Herbie.
