PHUKET: -- Two petty criminals were caught in a crime sweep by police in Rassada yesterday afternoon (June 26) as part of action ordered by Police Region 8 to get rid of crime, weapons and drugs.

Narcotics police revealed this morning that they had arrested Ko Sae-guay, 37, in possession of a handmade “Thai pradit” gun in his house. He was charged with illegal possession of a gun and ammunition.

They also arrested Anurak Tangsurat, 20, and his uncle, Danai Tangsurat, in possession of 23 methamphetamine pills and 0.68 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

The two were charged with possession of a category one drug.
