I want to park my bike in Rayong (or Ban Chang) for a couple days

Featured Replies

I will be heading from Phala Beach to Ban Chang -> Rayong -> Trat -> Hat Lek to re-enter on my tourist visa.

Does anyone have any suggestions about where I can park my bike? Does the bus station have any long term parking options? Would it be safe to just... leave it in the bus station parking? Maybe for 2 nights? I could throw a chain lock through the wheel...

This would save me a lot of headache, as I could show up in Rayong for the bus on my own terms, rather than calling a taxi to get me in Phala, hailing a songtaew to Rayong, yadda yadda...

Oops -- I should clarify. Ideally, I can park in Rayong. But Ban Chang would also help. The latter would save me in the future, as I often take the bus to Chiang Mai and have to take a taxi into town.

Park and lock it inside the Lotus shopping centre in Ban Chang... maybe take out the spark plug.

I left it there for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was where I left it! Locked the bike and put a chain lock through the wheel... looked undisturbed.

Thanks for the suggestion.
