Advice on supporting family please

Just curious to know whether the monthly "subscriptions" are still being paid by bars, entertainment venues, restaurants and others to the local constabulary. A little tweety bird has whispered in my ear that while on the surface little has changed, there is a degree of nervousness in the police ranks at the moment about doing anything untoward.

I've also noticed lately around Pattaya that there haven't been any police checkpoints - but that just might be coincidence.

Police might still be collecting but doubt can offer any protection.

I pay monthly for the red box, which is police patrol on daily basis.

Last month they have not missed a day, while previously was lucky to see them twice per week

I do not have a bar but can still see the change.

I had offer of the security box twice. I refused. Nothing happened.
