I'm looking for someone to make a belt pouch for my glasses, and possibly another pouch for my mobile which is an unusual brand. I've seen recommendations for custom shoes like Siam Bootery – would they handle this sort of thing as well? I'll be staying in a hotel in the Sukhumvit area. I've been to Thailand briefly once before but didn't do my research on this issue, so I wasn't able to find someone in time before I had to leave.

Maybe a trip down to Khao San road would be best. You will find a number of leather working shops scattered around. Many used to be situated in the soi between KSR and the Government Lottery building on the main road (Ratcahdamnoen). The whole soi has now been cleared for redevelopment, but I reckon the guys have not moved too far.
