Driving school in BKK

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a driving school in BKK with English speaking instructors? Any ideas about the cost of a lesson?

It cost my Thai wife I think ฿6,000 for 6 or 8 1-hour lessons and a bus trip to take and pass the test (I think that's an unspoken part of the deal).

I insisted on a manual vehicle and their only available was a 3L Vigo. Perfect for us.

I think I posted only last week that after passing the test I would recommend another 6 or so lessons driving in real city centre traffic.

Now then, the instructors are Thai-speaking only but if you have a go-between then PM and I'll dig out the details.
