China’s Military Expansion and America’s Defense Deficiency
suffering worse losses than it did in WW2 Tell me when Russia's losses top 20 million, which is what they lost in WW2. That was a minimum and could have been millions higher. -

Bangkok Streets to Undergo Significant Improvements
When I lived in Bangkok it was just off Prachanivet, Lad Yao, Bang Ken and the pavements were excellent in a very well kept area so it's not all bad! -

Bangkok Streets to Undergo Significant Improvements
Yeah, I live on Rajadamri. One of the most walkable streets in Bangkok. The did a pretty good job on Langsuan recently also. They got rid of the ridiculous planters that narrowed the walkable sidewalk to one person at a time. Hope that lasts. -

Post-Y2K BUG & The New American Bedlamism: Was America, historically, ever this crazy?
" Our hearts and minds go out to those to those who have suffered..." The most used platitude by those who have the power to do something about it. -

Post-Y2K BUG & The New American Bedlamism: Was America, historically, ever this crazy?
When you brought up Y2K... some operating systems were having a challenge on 1/1/2000 but I think old Unix based systems were having the same on 19 Jan 2038? -

Bangkok Streets to Undergo Significant Improvements
Bangkok pavements are actually good. I know this will trigger many, but go say to The Mall Ngamwongwan, and walk from there back towards Bangkok. You'll know immediately when you left Nonthaburi and reached Bangkok. Obviously they are far from perfect, but compared to neighbouring province... it's day and night difference. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
My mortgage is with One Account (Was Virgin One) & a couple of years back they asked me for a Thai TIN (No idea how they knew I was in Thailand as I never use that account) but they've never asked me for my UK TIN, though they would have my NI Number as part of the registration so must be happy with either/or. As an aside they're closing my account in March (Mortgage period is finished) and in their letter they offered to migrate me to a normal bank account (Natwest I believe) but I'm pretty sure that's just a standard letter and they won't let me do it because I live in Thailand. -

Ceiling Paint?
This is my bathroom ceiling in a condo I am renting. I am tired of looking at it. If I just scrape off the peeling paint and paint over it with a ceiling paint will it last for a year? I know it is best to prime it first but I want to do it quick and easy with no concerns about long lasting quality. -

Thailand's Cashless Leap: Ahead of the Asean Pack by 2028
I explain the concept of a programmable CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) to people and get a blank stare. Almost nobody understands the concept the WEF and many governments are about to force on us. Everyone thinks it's just a debit card or a phone app to make life easier. A CBDC is the ultimate form of totalitarian control. Your programmable "money" will be far worse than prison scrip or WWII ration cards. They won't need any type of physical or legislative force to control you. The first thing they'll do is attach carbon credits to every purchase. You'll try to buy a steak or diesel - sorry, you've used up this month's allocation. Or try to buy an airline ticket - sorry you've already used up your credits, but they can be "banked", so in seven years you will have enough for that trip to Thailand. They'll also make your credits appreciate or depreciate depending on fiscal need - sir, you're not spending enough and we need to boost consumption. We'll devalue your credits by 10% each month if you don't meet the spending requirements. CBDC's and the 15 minute city. Welcome to dystopia. -

Thai beauty queen tricked into paying 800,000 baht for victory
This guy should go to jail and be forced to return all the money to any of these women he stole from. What a pig! -

What time do you get up at?
BTW, I never have naps, it's something I avoid as I've found if I have an afternoon nap it makes it harder for me to get to sleep at night, so no naps, on those rare times when I feel like a nap I resist and go off to do something. -
