Mamey Sapote in CM?

Featured Replies

One of the best things about CM is the variety of fruit,  but surprising to me are the many varieties of tropical fruit not yet available here. A good example are guavas, there are the big green skin white variety but not the many varieties of smaller tastier ones.  A great fruit I miss from my home is Mamey Sapote,  has anyone seen this for sale anywhere or know of someone with a tree?  I see sapodillas available often but I want sapote.

Never seen mameys here.  But soursop is starting to become available.

Mamey are here. I saw some about a month ago in a big weekend market. You also sometimes see them in Warorort kind of caddy-corner to the 7-11 just at the side entrance to the big building. In Thai they're called lamut = ละมุด. I think they come out 1-2x/yr, so not sure about the seasonality. Good luck.
