arunsakda Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Before I go traipsing around to every shopping plaza in Chiang Mai, anybody know where to get these? Whatever they are using to create the almost overpowering fragrance of lemongrass at the Royal Silk lounge at BKK would be perfect I need to fight back against an odour of cigarette which is assaulting me from a nearby Condo unit. I tried the search function but only linked to places to buy the oils themselves.
MrBrad Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I'd think that the retailers who sell the oils would also have diffusers available. I remember seeing those items in one of the shopping malls (can't remember which), in an open, common area where a wide range of oils had been set up nicely.
elektrified Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 "I need to fight back against an odour of cigarette which is assaulting me from a nearby Condo unit." That is one reason I would never live in a condominium/apartment. I visited a friend at his condominium in the city and we went on the balcony to have coffee only to be blasted with cigarette smoke from another unit. We had to go inside and close the glass door. What a horrible way to live with other people so close like that.
arunsakda Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 I have been in my condo about 6 years no problem, but I am so sensitive to the light/yucky odour of cancer stick that it will wake me from a sound sleep. Last night I awoke in the middle of the night sure someone was smoking in the Hallway, which is banned/prohibited by the bylaws. It turns out to be coming from the common ventilation duct which services the extract air fans in the bathrooms. Somebody must be surreptitiously "smoking in the boys room". Bloody Rotter, I hope you move away soon.
arunsakda Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Looks like this item may be hard to find.
Lobo4819 Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Have seen them in the kiosk areas of both Promenada and Festival. 100% sure of Promenada, 90% Festival. Don't ask me to explain the difference.
eyecatcher Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 There are several different diffusers and they can be picked up in the likes of home pro but home sukkapan for sure. Ambi pur make them, battery operated and blast a puff of aroma at whatever timed interval you wish. You can fix them wherever but high up is better for the distribution obviously. Those cheapies you plug into a socket are just that, useless. These diffusers come in around 1000bt and the bottles of essence on top. They last about 3 months. Alternatively you can rent them, a company will come and fit two or three such as in hotel and charge you 4000bt a year and they top them up for you.
