Could the OP give some clarification?

 

From the post I get that you inquired about the current situation, then later report you waited 3 hours and you were 'gouged'.

 

Your last post suggests you paid 5,000 baht including a multiple re-entry permit. But the cost combined with the extension is 5,700...

 

Please explain and specifically say it, if you were actually overcharged.

Strange, never actually said any of it.
Post 1 was a request for recent experiences at immigration with our old friend The Birdman.
Someone said same as always to which I replied with what always has happened there.
I did not say anything about 5,000 baht for everything, if you actually read the post you will see that I was seeking clarification from another responder.
