Where to buy a digital weighing scale for Precious Metals

Featured Replies

I would like to buy an accurate (0.01 gm) weighing scale in Chiang Mai, for the purpose of verifying the correct weight of precious metals. Does anyone know where such a thing can be bought?

The chemical supply and lab equipment shop opposite the faculty of medicine on Suthep road has them, but expensive.

I ened up buying mine off e-bay, with free postage smile.png

The name of the store on Suthep Road is Union Science. It's very close to where Nimmanheimin intersects with Suthep Rd. You should be able to google it if that's the way you decide to go.

Thanks, guys! I'll go check it out.

I noticed from another thread here on TV that someone posted a link to a website (zepper dot biz) which sells a lot of weighing scales, of many kinds. I found one on their website which is pocket sized, 300 gm maximum, 0.01 gm accuracy, for 1200 Baht - which would be perfect for me. We'll soon see if Union Science has anything comparable. biggrin.png
