Hey gweilo, here it is: http://www.icasque.com/Accessoires-moto/Bagagerie-Moto-Scooter/Sacoches-de-selle/Spider-Noir/

Did you spend much time in HK btw? I lived in there (in Happy Valley) between 2000 and 2004, loved the vibe of that place but haven't been back in a while.

Thanks for the link. It's pricey indeed, do you feel that it's worth it?

I had two stints there, first time 1990 - 1994 and recently 2007 - 2009 before relocating to Bangkok as it's more convenient for my travels (geographical centre of my area of coverage).

I am thinking to buy the Kriega one from Panda rider. Biggest plus for me is that its waterproof. With one more bag on the tank I think its enough for enough luggage. If not ,another thing I m thinking to buy is the Shad panniers. Only that I dont feel comfortable with being limited when going between cars.

I think if the features / functionality of having tail bag that is easy to attach/remove and also function as a backpack are important to you then yes it is worth it. If you don't intend to use it often and just want to strap a bag to the tail for trips then maybe not. As far as quality it seems very good, this is an established French brand and they've put in a lot of thought into design and features and didn't cheap out on buckles, straps and such. Having said that I've only just got it so can't attest to durability.

As usual it also depends on what you compare it to and where you buy it. If you look at other good brands like Kriega and what they sell for here then it's pretty much on par price wise. See here: http://www.pandarider.com/Panda/Product_kriega.htm

You can check out reviews on youtube, e.g.:

looks alright looking in the video , but i think id still sway to kreiga 20L as it packs down smaller if not full ,its water proof and you can attach the 10l bag to it if you need more space.

The Kriega looks like a quality product, and cheaper, but it's a dry pack with motorcycle straps, that's a different type of setup from the Bagster above. Also one could add the Kriega 10L to the Bagster using the included straps either under the seat or completely wrapping under the bike. That will give you 23+10L so slightly more space plus the advantage of a backpack with full access zipper all around.

Anyways it depends on personal taste and type of usage you expect.

I've got the Kriega US-20 and US-10 Drypacks- the straps will let them fit I pretty much anything, be it motorcycle seat or existing (different brand) luggage. They're really nice quality, and the price at Panda is about the same as the States.

I like the way the Bagster is designed, especially the various pockets. It looks like a lot of thought had gone into the design to try and fit the lines of an existing sports / touring bike. The separate long pocket for gloves, the elastic part for water (not recommended in Thailand unless you like drinking hot water - a lot better to put your rain gear there - if it fits that is), the small pocket for mobile phone etc. My only concern is that it's not waterproof (one can run into very sudden thunderstorms here in Thailand) and not being waterproof, Eur 93 seems like quite a high price.

What I will do is to try and look for it in some shops when I'm next in France / Europe so that I can claim back the VAT. Eur 77 sounds like a more reasonable price.
