Recommendation for Fitness Trackers

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

Is anyone using any kind of fitness trackers? I want to buy one but struggle to find anything decent. Looking at fitbit Flex that was recalled due to some skin allergy issues. Knowing it has been out for more than a year surely new tracker from fitbit will be coming anytime now. Most of them seems to lack waterproof material which is a shame.

I was also keeping an eye at ingiegogo project called AMiigo. That one looks really good but my god are they late. They were suppose to release it over a year ago and still not ready.

I have a tomtom multisport cardio and love it.

Swim, bike and run with it. Can use it as a gps tracker too. Gave me my routes during a trip to Singapore, even the plane.

Can it track sleep? Im looking for something I can wear through the day and get overall view of my daily activities.

You could put it in treadmill mode, which would save battery by not using gps, and track your heart rate while you sleep. But it won't tell you how long you sleep or anything like that.

Battery life is ten hours while using gps and hrm. The hrm is optical through your arm, no need for a separate chest strap.

I use the "fitbit one" - its great, but I have lost one already because it became unclipped from my trouser pocket. i do really like using a tracker though - very good at getting me out of the the chair
