taking up new trousers - any good place ?

Featured Replies

my new Jeans are a tad too long.

anybody knows a good place at an a easy-to-reach location where they "know what they are doing" ?

that can be even an old granny sitting at the "mouth of a Soi" with a sewing machine, but I as well don't mind paying a couple of Baht more if I can be sure it is done properly.

Thanks

Make sure they use the original trouser ends with the stitching to ensure the original look. I dunno how they do it, but somehow they retain the end of the legs and re-stitch it on some sort of hidden seam.

Nothing worse than jeans that have just been cut off and then a simple hem as you would do dress trousers.

You did not say where you are at. Just go to any major store that sells jeans and they usually do alterations with 15-30 mins.

B2 of Emporium near the parking - best hemmers in Bangkok IMO.

Thanks, I will give it a try

Yeah they do a proper job with no visible hem lines, unlike the rush job from a department store
