You obviously just want to harp on witrhout reading as i HAVE NOT ONCE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT NURSING, I did mention what it costs at a government University in Pahyo in a first year Science program for my neice including ther ancillary fees.

I also have not posted any link at all although I did note that although I have tried to find one on the Thai section of the Chiang Mai Rajapat site I have not found one and as you said that it was because we could not read it I asked you to locate it as you said you knew what the prices are.

I would also advise you to keep your insults of othr peoples families off this site.

If you are going to reply at least read the posts..

I can read it and the fees don't appear to be advertised on the CMRU website.

Thailand is the home of dual pricing, when a foreigner asks, it costs more.

The CR nursing website, is in very good English, boasts International recognition, it's clearly aimed at foreign "sponsors".

I didn't see any entrance requirements either (unusual for legit establishments), so guessing if you can pay, you're in.

PS

I have a very good idea of the nursing salary structure, my niece is an administrator at a local CM government hospital and her MIL is CEO.

15k/month is the most money average nurses can expect. (Not including the 1 in a million that travel the world at someone else's expense)

One more time AOA:

Here's their website:

http://www.mfu.ac.th/school/nurse/index.php

Here's their admissions policy, which is contained on their website:

Admission system

  • The northern quota system
  • The direct admission system
  • The central admission system
  • The clearing house system

Admission requirements

  • High school certificate in mathematic and science program with GPA more than 2.5.
  • Healthy or without any health problems that effect to learning ability.
  • Others with the university requirement.

We know Thai families who have enrolled their children there and everyone pays the same level of fees, the Thai government subsidizes the first three years of school fees, the family (me) pays for the fourth year and all other expenses.

And as a part of doing our due dilligence, we spent half a day at the campus, not only did we not see any obvious foreign students, when we asked various staff they replied that they have some Chinese students.

I know that you've dione your usual trick of quoting the first article you've found on Google which indeed does mention 15,000 baht, sadly that's incorrect. Some nurses at private hospitals, especially Bumrungrad and Bangkok Hospital, earn between 50K and 60k a month, starting salaries for nurses at Bumrungrad with three years experience is 32,000.

Now quit trying to bait, I'm loosing interest.

Not really the average government hospitals are they?

And not really related to the OP.

Haven't you ever asked yourself why so many elderly foreign guys, with no Thai language skills, and just the one interpreter between them and the world around them, seem to pay more for everything?

Thanks for pointing that out chiang mai. Now I don't have to waste a lot of time replying to his comment. He is always putting down Thais and he thinks they are all poor.

And...no one ever said anything about these nurses/medical technicians/consultants working at "average government hospitals". That's why they got a good education. So they could get good paying jobs (which doesn't mean that they all put on a uniform and change bed pans all day.)

Difficult to know where he's coming from, all of the time. There are times when he displays great logic and useful, helpful views, there are even moments where he displays near brilliance in some of his replies. All of that unfortunately is clouded by the rest of the time where he enjoys winding people up and baiting them when he mostly talks pure sh*te. wink.png
