Featured Replies

My thought for today.

Anybody notice that the is a stray 30 m section of Phuket nestled on Lamai beach?

Yep, talking about Swing Bars annexing of the beach right up to the water line for their sun chairs.

Now where did I put that darn NCPO hotline phone number.......

Now where did I put Boaters sense of humour.........

I dont know about deck chairs...but i just want to say i love lamai, the beach, the town, nice and clean, plenty of bars and restaurants.I f i was n't so happy where i live in bophut,i'd be down there like a shot!

There are chairs in front of Ark Bar as well as many other establishments all over Chaweng.

Personally I don't see the problem with chairs and I'm sure majority of tourists prefer this convenience. If they don't want it, there lots of other places on the beach which doesn't have chairs, or just go to other more secluded beaches. If you are gonna stay at the main beaches such as Chaweng or Lamai, you're gonna have to expect it to be crowded and chairs and jetskis. There's lots of other quiet beaches on the island.

The Swing Bar, advertising the 'Best fireshow in SE Asia' with International DJs.

Oh we laughed...
