how much for 2 people to get a private longtail boat from taling ngam (best place?)

probably 3-4 hrs enough to go around and stop at a couple beaches and snorkelling spots?

1 thai and 1 farang if that makes any difference here with negotiations!

or any other half day trips similar you can recommend....ideally budget <2k as other option is just to do a day trip to pha ngang which is ~1k for both of us on the ferry

Last time I did the trip it was 1400 baht, 5 of us around Koh Mudsom and the other island, (name no coming to me at the momentKoh Tan ??? ) that was about 3 years ago....

There are various places you start from.... It comes down to asking around ... to see who will give best price. ... you might get it for 1000 baht... Snorkeling was not that good that we were shown anyway!

If you do KP on Lomprayah, (Maenam to Tongsala) ask for return ticket, but you need to say when you are coming back.... 500 baht return is correct... ( I think Seatran is the same) .... For snorkeling Mae Haad beach, still has some good coral, although not as good as it used to be....

Also you might want to check out my last set of images, we were told snorkeling was not too bad ..... let us know if you try it!

Yes, not a bad price, some times you can spend hours just searching around, for cheapest price.... it's not always worth it, for the small amount you might or might not save! Thanks for giving the feed back!

1500 was from the restaurant in front of the "main" boat parking area ... Was quoted 2000 opposite the 7/11
