2 stroke japanese bike

I think he is asking if he can buy older ( 80's-90's) Japanese 2 stroke bikes & parts in Thailand.

I get that from his other post

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/733254-which-would-you-buy-if-you-could-only-have-on-nos-2-stroke-kawasaki-or-yamaha/page-3#entry8351451

To which I would say to the Op yes of course they are available.

But if you want to buy these used bikes/parts your best bet is come to visit & handle it all yourself.

To deal with a Thai shop or seller from mocyc etc via phone, email etc about a purchase would

be risky if not impossible.

Also not sure what exporting a full bike to Malaysia would be like

Good Luck

You mean is it allowed to import older 2-stroke bikes into Malaysia?

No idea! (Importing vehicles is usually a nightmare, in my own experience).

Which bike would you like? I loved the Yamaha RD 350 YPVS whistling.gif , the RGV 250 Gamma and the NSR 400.

I had a Suzuki GT 750 back in the early 80's. A nice ride but it lived up to its reputation of " The kettle " by boiling the centre cylinder often. still a fun ride with a wicked power band you don't really get on a 4 stroke. Still lots of 2 strokes here but for how long I don't know with the new regulations they keep bringing in
