Are there any current whiskey clubs around BKK? I was just in Hong Kong and went to a tasting with a local whiskey group and it was a blast. I'd love to do something like that here if there is one.

I know everyone is going to say there's lots of whiskey tasters at every bar in Thailand....but I mean a real social club.

I think there are now two locations for Whisgars in Bangkok.....one in Suk soi 23 and another in Ploenchit. Not sure if this is what you're looking for but I'd expect you'll meet like minded folks at their events.
