today I have had the problem that when I click on to a website (using the Firefox browser).half the time I get a page with the following message

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Is this likely to be caused by a problem with the main server or is it something on my computer, which is causing this? I haven't had this problem before and I haven't changed any settings or anything. I have already scanned for viruses.

Question which provider do you use ?

I have this a lot with 3BB but not with TOT.

No solution, just click on retry

yes, it is true move.

Perhaps I should have mentioned in my original post that it is a wireless connection I'm using, but this problem has only just started this morning. And I am noticing, even when I don't have to click on retry the page takes much longer to download.

There have been many reports of TRUE customers having very slow speeds and time-outs over the last few days, especially Monday and Tuesday. I experienced the same although it did seem to improve Wednesday and OK so far today.

Word is that TRUE instituted a new, more intensive internet surveillance program and it took a while to get it going properly in the background.

Hello out there!!
