My wife has just let a property to a family of US citizens,she knows the requirement

to register aliens staying at your premises,but up till now its been Farang man,Thai

wife,single Farang men and women,but in the case of family do you have report names

of all the family,husband,wife,4 kids ?,or just the head of the household?

Also last time she went to register a tenant,about 2 months ago,the officer at immigration,

said she could now do it on line,but i thought that was possible for hotels and guest houses

only,so if anyone on here knows what the situation is ,i would be grateful,as sometimes

conflicting reports come out of the Immigration dept.

You need to register them all, not just the HOH. Sorry don't know about online. Con't wait, it is supposed to be done within 24 hours or some very short time period.

Anyone can register for online registration of their house guests. The initial application for registration can be processed on line. Sorry, I don't have the link to hand.

Do it for all on the same form (TM30 attached). Perhaps take it down first time, or phone them up and see if they'll give you the link to the site and a password. I take it the family knows they should also report their address within 24 hours?

Technically, yes you should. You can report at the local police station. They'll probably just be annoyed that you're wasting their time though.

The online registration is (in principle) only for businesses and the registration can be done online or at the immigration office.

Private houses have to do the registration in person at the immigration or police station.

I went to immigration in Pattaya on Jomtien Soi 5 to register an occupant in one condo and was told I could do it on line and was given an information packet.

I registered and was given a UserName and Password. The site is all in Thai but easy to figure out.
