People use them for play toys....governments use them for surveillance and targeting/eavesdropping.....

Or - you caould use Google earth - or try a kite.....rolleyes.gif

Maybe send a tweet to @richardbarrow - he does a lot of drone photography....

Actually, you could probable buy a cheap one for 2500 baht, and a HD camera for not much more (i did)

They are fun to fly and super stable, so why not give it a spin.

Call someone in America & keep mentioning key words such as: bomb...radioactive...infidel...with a few Allah's thrown in & the yanks will do it for you.

Don't hope to hear from your friend for a long time though.

Check out the 'photography and the arts' sub forum one of the members has one and has footage too.

Start a new thread or ask a mod to move this thread.

You won't get anyone taking the piss there either, just helpful answers.

Moved to photography.

Wasn't talking the piss.

My brother in law is a Lt Colonel in the AAF & when talking with him on the phone I kept dropping these words in on the sly.

Took him a good few calls to realise what I was doing.

He thought it was funny, so did I. That's why it popped into my head.
