Well, well, what do you know. Why did that sweet heart of a son need to open a mule account in the first place in a place through a person far from home? If she pinpoints exactly, who was asking for the bribes, then the file moves a little closer. Somehow that money changed hands so, if the boys in brown would be serious to clean up the mess and come out as a winner, they will follow through. But, like in most other cases, the story will fizzle away and the recipients of the payments will be visited later on for a slice of the cake. The looser is the whining mother. The story with the boy has more chapters as well; start with why he needed a mule account and what did he intend (or done) with it. Not newsworthy, happened and will happen again as grieving Mummy wanted to take the short cut instead of letting her son stand for whatever he is/was accused for. -

Don't forget city tax ! Seen it on a bill in samui and just laughed . There was also another tax I seen somewhere on a bill while there but can't remember what for . I think it was something like municipal tax . This was as well as city tax , vat and service charge 😀 -

What is surprising is that, among the advanced, and sometimes also the not so advanced, democratic countries, this issue is unique to the USA. It is not easy to understand why French, Germans, Dutch, Swedish, Spanish, Italians, Polish, Indians generally have faith in the fairness of their electoral systems, while so many Americans don't trust theirs. When faced with a serious problem, it is common practice in the USA to come out with a bipartisan solution. The fact that this issue has never been addressed leads one to think that it is not a real problem. Not for the Dems, who prefer to guarantee maximum accessibility to the ballot boxes. And not for the Republicans, who benefit from an effective propaganda theme, which they know has no real impact on the outcome of the elections. Both parties see no benefit in changing the status quo, despite the fact that it generates distrust in the electoral process, a situation unique among advanced democracies. The only real beneficiaries are social media. The inflammatory posts published by both sides on "rigged elections" often go viral, generating millions of lucrative clicks. -

Not quite accurate. Case officers who work under cover in embassies are actually the only agency employees who do actual intelligence collection (besides NOCs, who sound as if they could do a lot, but tend to produce precious little). Calling them 'low level' ignores that without them, there is no intel. Once they move up to 'high level' and become management, or "7th Floor types" or CoSs, they become bureaucrats who might manage, but they produce little of what goes into the agency product, PDB, etc. A case officer under cover has a full time embassy job, just as if he/she was a State Dept employee. He/she also has agency work, which tends to mean 100+ hour weeks. And no, they are not always obvious, because they are also doing a full time State job, such as Pol, Econ or Commercial. If trained well, they can fool even the local service. While the vetting for agency case officers is complex and as thorough as humanly possible (background checks, swirls, psych assessments, IQ tests with strict cutoffs <~120), a psychopath can sometimes beat the system. I suspect the subject of this article meets that criteria, as one of the 3-4% of humans who are psychopaths. Some psychopaths become rapists, some become Ted Bundy, some become CEOs of major corporations, and some become Presidential candidates. The key attributes of a psychopath are an easy charm that fools many people, pathological lying, thinking rules apply to others but not them, an absence of guilt or shame, and a total lack of human empathy. -

This guy, why has many good Home Assistant videos, just added another one. In my experience it is always difficult for beginners to start, because maybe "starter" videos are old. And many additional videos are too complicated for people who just start with this. Enjoy! -
