For the past 2 years, I have become the official love adviser to the nurses of the hospital that my wife works in.

It all started, when one of the nurses was corresponding with a farang on one of the dating sites.

Her English was minimal, so she asked for my help through my wife.

How it worked is that she used to send me the Emails from the farang, I used to compose an answer and forward it back to her.

The problem is that the nurse had friends and the friends had other friends corresponding with farangs on the dating sites.

So, cut the long story short, at the moment I am corresponding with 8 farangs around the world.

Always tried to keep my answers short and sweet and concentrate more on Thai culture issues (God, help them) or speaking about Thailand and the beautiful places that one can visit.(no, I don't mention Koh Tao at the moment)

But then the Emails start becoming more of a personal nature, and love flows by the buckets in them.

So, I have to answer accordingly, by telling them my dreams of having a family, meeting them, and them taking care of me.

I don’t beat around the bush but tell them what it is expected from them, morally and financially.

The amount of BS, I hear from their mouths is unbelievable but if that situation arises I give them the same BS back.

Of course this service is free of charge, although I get the occasional Khop Khun or sometimes a box of biscuits or sweets.

Recently, I started feeling guilty of what I’m doing.

But I feel sorry for the girls and want to help them to find a better life.

So I come before you, to make a confession of my sins.

Also to warn, Peter, John, Hans or any other name that they are speaking to me and not to the loves of their life.

Have to say here, that some of them have already met with their Thai ladies and 3 already married to them.

The excuse I instructed the ladies to give as to their command of the English language is that they are shy to speak English but they feel comfortable when they write it.

Should I stop? Should I carry on?

It’s getting too much for me and I’m also providing services without a Work permit.

Its even worse for me.. i do the same thing and get 20k per farang send into my account. Just target desperate guys with a real pretty face and make sure you got a new version of the buffalo story. It helps if you got a cute girl to pose for you to send pictures to said farangs. You just share the profit then.

I do the same thing, but I let the farangs know that someone Is writing English for the girls.

I wouldn't put it as harsh as Mr Eliot, but it ain't right is it. However, spose as long as these are genuine girls and not the kind that are squeezing like 10 farangs simultaneously. One thing's for sure, though; if you're not charging for this, reckon they think you're a bit stupid (first) -- kind of like the guys they're snagging -- and generous//helpful/kind (second).

You got a good job!. The normal rate to do that is 300thb/for reading and answering an e-mail letter, and have tons of people doing that..specially hair dressers. I knew one in Chiang Mai, Thai women in line waiting for her English writing services.....including sometimes a nice picture in Thai traditional customs to make them look "classy and honest" in their sites pictures. Some farangs are totally stupids and you are having fun with them......what is also totally desgusting. A big surprise for a lot of people in pursue of "love".

You are just a "part of the problem".....How you feel about that.....and the future consequences for you and others.... it is your problem....
