Fire near CM gate!

Featured Replies

If you live near CM gate and the corner of the moat, your electricity and internet may have gone this morning.

They had a bit of a fire in the rats nest of cables just outside the petrol station.

How surprising. also no power in our part of Huay Keow Rd.

Many thanks AOA. I was just going to post the question.

Im surprised there arent more fires like that when one looks at the electricity supply around the city (Anywhere in CM really). A bit like the old days with telephone lines, if your phone went dead they just ran a new line up. No reason to take down the old broken line, or so Im told.

Crazy stuff

Right next to the petrol station , I bet they carried on pumping.

About half year ago, 2 fires like this in one week near my condo at chang pueak area. And because of this, no internet for a couple of days.

The transformers near Rin Kham intersection on Huay Kaew blow out nearly every week for the last 10 years.

Scares the birds away for a few minutes.

One time I was walking nearby and nearly had a strong laxative effect on me.

Right next to the petrol station , I bet they carried on pumping.

Theres also LPG and they were at the front of their forecourt with their phones recording it as I coughed my way past on the bike this morning.
