Lady boys Loitering on Sukhumvit

Featured Replies

Aloha,

Please be diligent and aware of your surrounding when walking around Sukhumvit Road near Nana and Asoke BTS Stations. Don't let any lady boys come near you since their intentions are to steal your wallets or cellphones. Last Friday evening, 2 Japanese males were victims and I tried to help them but it was too late!

Be very careful of lady boys!

Sad thing is they have been allowed to do it for over 20 years that I know of

The law allows LBs to steal? Wow, that's a new one.

Feel a bit embarrassed for you, to be honest. Either you think you're making a smart point about his use of the word 'allowed' or you're struggling to understand a simple sentence- either way you're not coming out of this one looking too clever.

They've been allowed to get away with it for over 20 years. It's not rocket science ;)

Its NOT all ladyboys. Lets not target them. I had my wallet stolen 6 years ago in Suk 11 and we caught the guy as the idiot took the money out right in front of me where i was walking (I was heading back to the ATM thinking i left my wallet there) He put the money in his pocket, ran, i chased him and then the police caught him and took him away.

Neither are you, and whether I'm "making a smart point" or my comprehension is below standard is bugger all to do with you. You can also spare me your feelings of embarrassment as, surprisingly perhaps, your concern for me is of less than no concern to me.

You want to make a big deal out of something that the poster I responded to didn't and it seems perhaps that for your intellect my comment may well be "rocket science", so I'll point out to you the fact that is no-one is allowed to get away with theft. It may happen but it's not allowed.

Sorry, didn't realise you were so sensitive. No offence meant :)

Had a friend who was picked pocketed by ladyboys near the Asoke intersection about five or six years ago- he was on holiday, I warned him not to stop and talk to any strangers, to be street smart, first evening there a ladyboy flashes him her breasts and a second one steals his wallet. Creative, I guess. I'd say the police turn a bit of a blind eye to it, but I wouldn't want to get in some discussion over the use of the word 'allowed'. ;)

the strange thing is that there are actually Police around this area at all times. I walked from Suk Soi 1 to Nana BTS station after a visit to Bumrungrad on Friday afternoon and saw the ladyboys lurking in that area in large numbers, plus at the McDo where I stopped for a LATTE.

several BIB just watched on what the LB's were doing.....

That's odd considering you started the "discussion". I suppose you just wanted to get the first dig in and then run.

He's right, you're wrong, get over it.

Yes they are allowed to get away with it. Full stop.
